Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences

Two towns, two locations — and one European region full of opportunities: In the middle of the border triangle of Germany, the Czech Republic, and Poland, the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (HSZG) offers you a lot of practical experience. You’ll receive intensive support, use modern equipment, and make valuable contacts. The perfect setting for a successful course of study with excellent career prospects.

There are Diplom, bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes on offer — and some can also be combined with vocational training. There are 110 professors for the approx. 2,300 students, and the six faculties offer over 50 degree programmes in engineering, natural sciences, economics, and social sciences. Something that’s always on offer is a whole lot of internationality! With partnerships with 100 universities in over 40 countries, your studies at the HSZG can be a springboard into the wider world.

But you’ll also have an international experience right on your doorstep. The HSZG is located in the heart of Europe, making it the perfect place to not only learn international business communication on the new bachelor’s degree course but also to experience it in person.

You can also study communication psychology at the HSZG — this is a bachelor’s degree course that is unique in Germany. Or how about social gerontology? Housing and real estate management, and ecology and environmental protection are also interdisciplinary combinations that are only available here. Another recommendation is the international double degree in the unique master’s course in mechatronics at the HSZG and at the Technical University in Liberec.
