University of Cooperative Education Dresden
The University of Cooperative Education Dresden is located in Johannstadt and, together with the Evangelical University of Social Work (ehs Dresden), the Academy of Fine Arts (HfBK), and the Lightweight Construction Innovation Center (LIZ), forms the third-largest campus in the state capital.
In line with the academic offerings, the campus features information, media, and woodworking laboratories, as well as its own film studio.
Due to its central location, the campus does not have its own dormitory, but the Studentenwerk offers a very good selection of accommodation with a total of 27 dormitories across the city. There are two rental options: one for the entire duration of the study or just for the theory phase.
Dresden has something to offer for every taste: from nature along the Elbe meadows to vibrant nightlife. Through cooperation with the Studentenwerk and the university sports center, our students have access to a diverse range of approximately 800 different sports and health courses.
